A Rope Brake Pulley Loading Arrangement is provided for Loading of the DC Servo-Motor. The arrangement consists of a pulley connected to the shaft of the DC Servomotor, spring balance and the rope coupled across the pulley
A Non – contact type tachometer arrangement using an Opto Coupler is provided along with a Microcontroller based Digital RPM meter for accurate RPM measurement of the DC Servomotor Control algorithm can be programmed using Matlab/Simulink software or Labview software. The Controller has 32-bit ARM-based microcontroller that coupled to a power amplifier to gain and trigger the data to from and to the hardware.
Power amplifier is an IGBT bridge type with maximum voltage is no more than 50 VDC and the maximum current shall less than 10 A.
The servo controller also has two 12-bits ADCs, minimum FOUR (4) +/- 10 VDC analgue outputs, built in 48 VDC/6.7 A power supply and 12-bits DAC.
