Cut Section Model of A Drum Brake Unit Model AM 106
The master cylinder is connected by tubing to wheel cylinder at each of four wheels. The system is filled with
brake fluid under light pressure when brakes are not in operation
Item Description
SYSTEM FEATURES
Mobile, compact, comprehensive, sturdy design
All working Systems can be studied to their operations.
Cut sections are painted with different colours.
All-important parts are well elaborated.
Slide, Charts, CBT as an optional Accessories.
The brake pedal is connected to the master cylinder piston by means of piston rod. For application of brake, press the pedal which cause piston forced into master cylinder increasing pressure of fluid in master cylinder and in entire hydraulic system. This pressure is instantly transferred all four-wheel cylinders. Piston in wheel cylinder moves outwards moving brake shoes out against brake drum. Thus brakes are applied. Sci-Tech Engineers have designed the systems, keeping in consideration that all components are exposed & painted with different colours. This makes easy understanding of operation of system. The system is made up from actual working engine/components/systems with a sturdy iron base.
ADVANTAGES
1. Mechanical linkage, joints and cams are eliminated which makes brake construction simple.
2. The brake fluid exerts equal pressure at all points to all the four wheels.
3. Friction and wear in system is less, which increases braking effort.
