Moment of Inertia Apparatus Model MT 163

Sci-tech Moment of Inertia Apparatus MT 163 is designed to determine the moment of inertia of many kind of object with oscillation method. Oscillation occurs caused by torque which is applied to the spiral spring which is mounted on the axis of this device. By measuring the oscillation interval and using a calculation, the moment of inertia of an observed object can be determined. Spring constant should be determined first prior to the experiment.

Oscillation interval measurement can be done manually by using stopwatch or, for better accuracy, can be used by optional Timer Counter and Photo Gates which can record up to 20 measurement data.

Provided with experiment manual book.

Size: 40cm x 40cm x 70cm (LxWxH)
Weight: 15 kg
