Item Description
MODEL ETR 03A: INVERTER USING SCR (PARALLEL)
- All Components are terminated with a connector for the study of Students.
- One potentiometer is provided to change the Inverter output frequency.
- Inbuilt 555 IC based PWM generation.
- Separate Inbuilt Power Supply for Triggering Pulse and Power Inverter Circuit.
- Inbuilt Resistive Load.
- 2 no’s of 1:1 Pulse transformers are used for isolated triggering of the SCR.
- Detailed mimic diagrams are drowned to facilitate the experiments.
- All the junction points are terminated with banana connector for monitor/measure and study of signals using any one of measuring equipment.
MODEL ETR 031B: CHOPPER USING SCR

- One potentiometer is provided to vary the frequency.
- Inbuilt Power supply for Chopper Circuit and triggering pulse.

MODEL ETR 031C BUCK & BOOST CHOPPER

- One no of potentiometer is provided to vary the Frequency.
- Another potentiometer is provided to vary Power Supply.
- Inbuilt Power supply for Controller and triggering pulse.
- Power ON indication Switches for separate input to power circuit and triggering module.
- All the important points are terminated with banana connector for monitor/measure/ study thee signals using any one of measuring equipment.
MODEL ETR 031D JONES CHOPPER
This unit consists of two SCR’s, two diodes and an LC commutation circuit to construct a Jones Chopper power circuit. Each device in the unit is mounted on an appropriate heat sink and is protected with an RC snubber circuit. Further each power device has a glass fuse in series with it.
All the components are independent and their connections are brought out to front panel. The cathode and gate of each SCR is brought out on to separate terminals for firing pulse connection. DC MCB and a fuse is provided in series with the DC input.
A field supply bridge rectifier is also provided for DC motor control application in medium and high rating power circuit.
The devices and components can also be used to build different chopper circuits.
MODEL ETR 031E INVERTORS: SINGLE-TWO-THREE PHASE
Single Phase Bridge Inverter Power Electronic Training Board has been designed specifically for study of Single-Phase Inverter. Practical experience on this board carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

To study the step down voltage commutated thyristorized chopper.
