Item Description

Sci-tech Brake Testing Machine Model AM 209 is designed to experimentally evaluate coefficient of friction for brake shoe material. The unit consists of a variable speed motor connected to a brake drum. The brake system used for the trainer is mechanical internally expanding brake. Weights are provided to apply braking force on the brake shoes. Speed of motor is controlled by speed regulator. Instruments are provided to measure the input power, braking torque, speed etc.
