The trainer consists of ; Hydraulic power pump driven by electric motor, power assist rack & pinion module, steering wheel & column, steering arm & wheel tyre.
Two friction components are fastened to the tie rods for simulating the friction between road and tires. The original steering wheel, the torsion bar of the steering system is activated together with the rotary gate valve and in the steering column, an electronic force transducer is installed which transmits the steering power of the steering wheel and makes it visible on a displays
To enhance the student understanding of the system, the trainer also incorporated in an aluminum etching color mimic diagram, with elaborate the steering circuit and components. 2. Three unit of pressure gauge to shows the hydraulic control pressure at the system.
