Automotive Front End Steering & Gears System Model AM 195
Sci-tech Automotive Front End Steering & Gears System Model AM 195 is a small sized reproduction of a front
end steering and suspension system.
The sections show the steering mechanism which is a worm-screw type and the inner parts of the drum
brake. Everything is as in the original, operating the steering wheel steers the car wheels and thus the operation of the arms, the bars and the linkages can be observed.
The unit is composed of:
● Front independent suspension trapezoid-arm type
● Shock absorber
● Stabilizer
● Disc brakes
● Linkages
● Rack-and-pinion steering box
● Steering gear
● Spring
● Steering wheel
All constituents are movable and are created in miniature detail so that the system functions as per a real vehicle. The suspension is independent. Its operation is made easier by the springs, which can be compressed easily. The overall dimension is reduced due to an assembly method, which places the life sizes parts closer together. The whole group is mounted on a laminated table base.
