Working of high speed moving systems can be studied easily by moving at low speed by external movements. S.P. Engineers have designed the systems, keeping in consideration that all components are exposed & painted with different colours. This makes easy understanding of operation of system. The system is made up from actual working engine/components/systems with a sturdy m.s. structure. The system consists of rack housed in tubular casing as shown in figure. The casing is supported on the frame near its end. The ends of the rack are connected to the track rods with ball and socket joints. The pinion is in mesh with rack. The circular motion of the pinion is transferred into linear rack movement, which is used to turn the vehicle in desired direction through the track rod.
