SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
These training programs are based on the task list and provides the student with a trainer that can simulate various road conditions. Sci-tech’s Suspension and Steering Training Program is completely operational with McPherson strut, rack and pinion steering, tires and front disc brakes. The McPherson Strut Suspension can be loaded with hydraulic cylinders that are mounted under the strut.
The trainer has the complete strut assembly, tires and wheels, steering handle, and complete front disc brake system with power booster. Power steering is run by a 3 HP motor for more valuable NATEF skill testing. The readily accessible components make the instructor’s task relatively easier. The component operation, identification, and diagnosis of problems can be pinpointed and replaced/repaired by the student.
