Sci-tech DC Servo Motor (Speed Torque) Demonstrator Model PCT 016 is a versatile & useful, self-contained modular training system for finding the Speed – Torque Characteristics of an DC Servo Motor.

 A Rope Brake Pulley Loading Arrangement is provided for Loading of the DC Servo-Motor. The arrangement consists of a pulley connected to the shaft of the DC Servomotor, spring balance and the rope coupled across the pulley
 A Non – contact type tachometer arrangement using an Opto Coupler is provided along with a Microcontroller based Digital RPM meter for accurate RPM measurement of the DC Servomotor Control algorithm can be programmed using Matlab/Simulink software or Labview software. The Controller has 32-bit ARM-based microcontroller that coupled to a power amplifier to gain and trigger the data to from and to the hardware.
 Power amplifier is an IGBT bridge type with maximum voltage is no more than 50 VDC and the maximum current shall less than 10 A.
 The servo controller also has two 12-bits ADCs, minimum FOUR (4) +/- 10 VDC analgue outputs, built in 48 VDC/6.7 A power supply and 12-bits DAC.
